Job summary

TikTok MENAT in Dubai is seeking an energetic communications professional to support local plans, craft press materials, and monitor media. You will work with cross‑functional teams to amplify our regional messaging.

The role focuses on researching stories, preparing briefings, and ensuring accurate communications across English and Turkish audiences, with Arabic a bonus. Bachelor's degree required and 1–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of communications experience (PR/communications agency experience preferable).
• Understanding of local markets and trends.
• Good understanding of the media landscape in the MENAT region.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Turkish, with Arabic a bonus.
• Highly organised with good attention to detail.
• Able to take direction and execute tasks seamlessly.
• Willingness to take on different responsibilities and tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the MENAT communications team in managing and executing local communications plans
• Assist with developing press materials, briefings, press statements, pitches, presentations and events
• Conduct research and curate ideas for projects and/or events
• Daily media coverage monitoring, compiling, and reporting post‑campaign results
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams on communications materials, including newsroom blog posts, media pitches, newsletters, and campaign launch materials
• Proofreading and content preparation
• Maintenance of the contacts database
