Job Description and Requirements

The candidate should have experience and skills in Rotating Machines (Gas turbines, gas compressors, etc.) and offshore experience.

Mission

• Ensure the execution of the head office activities concerning pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, test run, training, maintenance engineering, operation, and handover of the plant to the Client according to contractual requirements and project objectives in terms of safety, quality, budget, and schedule.
• Ensure compliance of the site activities with established processes and HSE requirements, respecting time and cost targets.
• Have overall responsibility and accountability for efficient Commissioning / Operations / Maintenance.

Tasks

Commissioning and Start-up phase:

• Ensure HSE procedures are available and applied for each activity/work phase.
• Contribute to Safety Walkdowns and incident investigations.
• Participate in Pre Start-up Safety Reviews (PSSR).
• Issue progress reports on Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, and Start-up.
• Ensure schedule and budget adherence during home office and site activities.
• Participate in risk and opportunity meetings.
• Develop and ensure team competency.
• Participate in plant handover, including preparation of Commissioning Dossiers.
• Transfer lessons learned to the home office.

Operation Phase:

• Responsible for safe and efficient operations.
• Maintain client relationships.
• Implement and maintain Planned Maintenance Systems (SMS) on production equipment.
• Coordinate audits and statutory surveys.
• Ensure compliance with national and international laws and regulations.
• Verify safety and pollution prevention measures onboard vessels.
• Advise on operating costs and manage budgets.
• Review equipment performance and staff performance.
• Coordinate technical support and supervise subcontractors and logistics.
• Manage subcontracting and staff remuneration in line with company procedures.
• Support emergency response coordination.
• Ensure compliance with class rules and flag regulations.

Pre-Operation Phase:

• Support HSE plan and procedures preparation.
• Prepare pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up plans.
• Review contractual documentation and identify risks and opportunities.
• Review test procedures and manuals.
• Define procedures for equipment isolation and commissioning sequences.
• Support project scheduling and subcontracting activities.
• Ensure facilities are suitable for operation, maintenance, and repair.
• Coordinate crew training and materials readiness.
• Prepare inventory budgets and review operational and safety procedures.
