UK Nationals Only: Currently hiring for a Commissioning Electrical Systems Engineer to join our client on a long-term FPSO commissioning project. The first 6-8 months will be in Dubai, followed by continuation in Aberdeen through to 2027. Visa and flights will be included for the Dubai stint.

Commissioning Electrical Systems Engineer

6-8 months in Dubai, continuing commissioning in Aberdeen afterwards
The Commissioning Electrical Systems Engineer will report to the Commissioning Electrical Lead and be an integral part of the project team. The role involves working collaboratively within the organization on systems, plans, procedures, and methods.
The engineer will be responsible for pre-commissioning and dynamic commissioning of electrical low and high voltage systems related to a life extension project, including HV and LV distribution systems, downstream subsystems, small power distribution, lighting, sockets, and heat trace.
The role includes monitoring documentation quality, ensuring all necessary information for commissioning and start-up is available from contractors, reviewing FAT and SAT procedures, vendor procedures, and ensuring alignment with engineering, construction, and management teams. Coordination of boundary drawings, data sheets, plans, and field activities is also required.
