Commissioning Coordinator
Basic Function
Serve as the ICAPS & HEXAGON Administrator responsible for managing, updating, validating, and reporting all commissioning completion data within ICAPS. Ensure accurate System/Sub-System structuring, discipline-wise progress tracking, punch list management, and coordination with Commissioning, Construction, QA/QC, and Vendor teams. Support the Commissioning Manager in maintaining real-time visibility of project readiness and completion status.
Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and maintain ICAPS Completion Database, including CCS, SCS, FCS, and Punch List modules.
- Create and maintain System / Sub-System breakdown aligned with project commissioning strategy and engineering deliverables.
- Upload, validate, and monitor discipline check sheets (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation).
- Coordinate with Commissioning Engineers to ensure timely closure of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- Generate daily/weekly ICAPS progress reports, KPIs, and dashboard summaries for management.
- Manage Punch List creation, categorization, assignment, follow-up, and closure tracking.
- Ensure ICAPS data integrity through routine audits, cross-checks, and reconciliation with site execution teams.
- Support interface management for tie-ins and system handovers.
- Prepare documentation for RFSU, RFC, and system handover packages.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for check sheet approvals and ensure compliance with project procedures.
- Maintain manpower histogram and support Commissioning Manager with resource planning inputs.
- Ensure ICAPS backups, version control, and secure data management.
- Liaise with Client representatives for ICAPS reviews, clarifications, and approvals.

Desired Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation).
- Formal training or certification in ICAPS preferred.
- Experience in Commissioning, Pre-Commissioning, or Completion Systems within Oil & Gas EPC projects.
- Familiarity with ADNOC standards is an advantage.
Competencies
- Proficiency in ICAPS & HEXAGON (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of commissioning workflows and system/sub-system structuring.
- Knowledge of CCS, SCS, FCS, Punch List modules.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, SLDs, ILDs, and engineering deliverables.
- Advanced MS Excel and reporting skills.
- Strong coordination with multi-discipline commissioning teams.
- Understanding of HSE compliance and project quality requirements.
