Job Description

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic Kitchen professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

As a Commis III, you are responsible for preparing food in the Kitchen according to the Standards of Performance set by the Outlet Chef. Your role will include key responsibilities such as:

  • Maintaining the highest hygiene and maintenance standards in your Kitchen section
  • Achieving the highest standards of hygiene and food safety as per ADFCA, HACCP guidelines to ensure high-quality food
  • Supporting the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef in daily operations and taking full responsibility for your section and tasks assigned
  • Ensuring food is prepared according to set menu specifications, maintaining high standards
  • Organizing your section according to the plan devised by the Outlet Chef for smooth operation
  • Practicing inventory economy to ensure sufficient supplies and minimize waste
  • Operating safely and environmentally friendly to protect health and safety and conserve the environment
  • Complying with hotel environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures

Skills, Education & Qualifications

You should have a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chefs training course and previous experience in quality establishments, along with good culinary skills. The ability to communicate in English and a proven track record in food preparation, presentation, and preservation is essential.
