Job Description
We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic Kitchen professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

As a Commis II, you will be responsible for daily food preparation and duties assigned to meet set standards and qualities. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Supporting the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in daily operations
  2. Working according to menu specifications provided by the Chef de Partie
  3. Maintaining hygienic conditions in the work area as per hotel rules
  4. Controlling food stock and food costs in your section
  5. Preparing daily mis-en-place and food production in different sections of the kitchen or satellites
  6. Following instructions and recommendations from superiors to complete daily tasks
  7. Ensuring high standards and consistent quality in food preparation, staying updated with new products, recipes, and techniques
  8. Coordinating with other sections regarding cleanliness, wastage, and cost control

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should have a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chefs training course and previous experience in quality establishments, along with good culinary skills. The ability to communicate in English and a proven track record in food preparation, presentation, and preservation are essential.
