Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn and practice a variety of skills in a short period, applying them in real kitchen tasks.
- Receive constructive criticism gracefully and execute orders effectively.
- Perform basic food preparation, cooking, and serving duties, maintaining high quality and standards for presentation.
- Prepare appetizers, meat, and vegetables for entrees, ensuring proper presentation.
- Taste and sample food during cooking to ensure quality.
- Assist Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie in preparing A La Carte orders.
- Refill and maintain the buffet table's attractiveness during operation hours.
- Control cooking appliance temperatures and cook simple hot food items.
- Keep the work area clean, hygienic, and organized at all times.
- Handle and maintain equipment properly.
- Assist in opening and closing food outlets, including storage.
- Be punctual and report directly to the Supervisor.
- Maintain grooming standards at all times.
- Report incidents, guest complaints, losses, or damages to superiors.
- Attend daily briefings, debriefings, and training sessions.
- Support colleagues and be flexible and helpful.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Assist in ensuring culinary standards comply with hotel policies and standards.
- Maintain good relationships with colleagues and other departments.

Job Requirements
- Minimum high vocational diploma; culinary school degree preferred.
- Knowledge of cooking, food presentation, and sanitization.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure within tight constraints.
- Quick learner, team player, with good interpersonal skills.
