Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn and develop various skills in a short period, practicing them through tasks in the kitchen.
- Receive constructive criticism gracefully and follow orders effectively.
- Perform basic food preparation, cooking, and serving to ensure high quality and adherence to standards.
- Prepare appetizers, meat, and vegetables for entrees, and assist with food presentation.
- Taste and sample food during preparation and cooking.
- Assist Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie with A La Carte orders.
- Refill and maintain an attractive buffet table during operation hours.
- Control cooking appliance temperatures and prepare hot food items.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness of the work area.
- Handle and maintain equipment properly.
- Assist in opening, closing, and storing food items in the outlets.
- Be punctual and report directly to the Supervisor.
- Maintain grooming standards at all times.
- Report incidents, guest complaints, and losses to superiors.
- Attend daily briefings, debriefings, and training sessions.
- Support colleagues, show flexibility, and be helpful.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.
Report Line & Communication
- Assist the Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie in maintaining culinary standards according to hotel policies.
- Maintain good relationships with colleagues and other departments.
Others
- Engage in continuous learning through personal development plans.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements
- Minimum high vocational diploma; culinary school degree preferred.
- Knowledge of cooking, food presentation, and sanitization.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure within tight time and space constraints.
- Quick learner, team player, and good interpersonal skills.
