PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Learn and practice a variety of skills in the kitchen, implementing them in daily tasks.
  2. Receive constructive criticism gracefully and follow orders effectively.
  3. Perform basic food preparation, cooking, and serving to maintain high quality and meet standards for presentation.
  4. Prepare appetizers, meat, and vegetables for entrees, ensuring proper presentation.
  5. Sample and taste food during cooking to ensure quality.
  6. Assist Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie with A La Carte orders.
  7. Refill and maintain an attractive buffet table during service hours.
  8. Control cooking appliance temperatures and cook hot food items.
  9. Keep the work area clean, hygienic, and organized.
  10. Handle and maintain equipment properly.
  11. Assist in opening and closing food outlets, including food storage.
  12. Be punctual and report directly to the Supervisor.
  13. Maintain grooming standards at all times.
  14. Report incidents, guest complaints, losses, or damages to superiors.
  15. Attend daily briefings, de-briefings, and training sessions.
  16. Support colleagues and be flexible and helpful.
  17. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

  1. Assist in ensuring culinary standards comply with hotel policies and standards.
  2. Maintain good relationships with colleagues and other departments.
