PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Learn and develop various skills in a short time, practicing them through actual tasks in the kitchen.
  2. Receive constructive criticism gracefully and follow instructions effectively.
  3. Perform basic food preparation, cooking, and serving tasks, ensuring high quality and adherence to presentation standards.
  4. Prepare appetizers, meat, and vegetables for entrees, assisting with food presentation.
  5. Taste and observe food during cooking to ensure quality.
  6. Assist Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie with A La Carte orders.
  7. Refill buffet tables and maintain their attractiveness during operation hours.
  8. Control cooking appliance temperatures and prepare hot food items.
  9. Keep work area clean, hygienic, and organized.
  10. Handle and maintain equipment properly.
  11. Assist in opening and closing food outlets, including food storage.
  12. Be punctual and report directly to the Supervisor.
  13. Maintain grooming standards at all times.
  14. Report incidents, complaints, losses, or damages to superiors.
  15. Attend daily briefings, debriefings, and training sessions.
  16. Assist colleagues, be flexible and helpful.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned.
Report Line & Communication
  1. Support the Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie in maintaining culinary standards according to hotel policies.
  2. Maintain good relationships with colleagues and other departments.
