Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn and develop various skills in a short time, practicing them through actual tasks in the kitchen.
- Receive constructive criticism gracefully and follow instructions effectively.
- Perform basic food preparation, cooking, and serving tasks, ensuring high quality and adherence to presentation standards.
- Prepare appetizers, meat, and vegetables for entrees, assisting with food presentation.
- Taste and observe food during cooking to ensure quality.
- Assist Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie with A La Carte orders.
- Refill buffet tables and maintain their attractiveness during operation hours.
- Control cooking appliance temperatures and prepare hot food items.
- Keep work area clean, hygienic, and organized.
- Handle and maintain equipment properly.
- Assist in opening and closing food outlets, including food storage.
- Be punctual and report directly to the Supervisor.
- Maintain grooming standards at all times.
- Report incidents, complaints, losses, or damages to superiors.
- Attend daily briefings, debriefings, and training sessions.
- Assist colleagues, be flexible and helpful.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Report Line & Communication
- Support the Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie in maintaining culinary standards according to hotel policies.
- Maintain good relationships with colleagues and other departments.
Others
- Engage in continuous learning through own IDP.
- Perform any other duties assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements
- Minimum high vocational diploma; culinary degree preferred.
- Knowledge in cooking, food presentation, and sanitization.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in tight spaces.
- Quick learner, team player, with good interpersonal skills.
