Job summary

Accor is seeking a passionate Pan-Asian cook for Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City Dubai to join our culinary team. You will focus on hot kitchen operations and wok cooking, contributing to authentic Pan-Asian dishes with attention to quality and presentation.

The role demands experience in fast-paced hospitality environments, strong knowledge of Asian techniques, and a collaborative spirit to grow within the property and the Accor brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Pan-Asian hot kitchen or similar role in hospitality.
• Knowledge of Asian ingredients, sauces and flavors.
• Experience preparing noodles, stir-fries, fried rice and other hot dishes.
• Excellent understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Positive attitude, teamwork mindset and eagerness to develop culinary skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily preparation and cooking of Pan-Asian hot dishes with consistent quality and presentation.
• Handle the wok station and prepare stir-fries, noodles, fried rice, sauces and related specialties.
• Support Chef de Partie and Sous Chef with dishes according to recipes and portion standards.
• Prepare mise en place and keep wok/hot kitchen organized for service.
• Maintain hygiene, food safety and cleanliness across the kitchen.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with culinary team during high-volume operations and assist other sections when needed.

Job Description

Join our talented culinary team and play a key role in preparing authentic and flavorful Pan-Asian cuisine, with a strong focus on hot kitchen operations and wok cooking.

What you will be doing:

• Assist with the daily preparation and cooking of Pan-Asian hot food, ensuring consistent quality, taste, and presentation.
• Handle the wok station confidently, preparing stir-fries, noodles, fried rice, sauces, and other Asian specialties.
