Job summary

Kitopi is seeking a passionate Commis Chef (Mexican Cuisine) to join our kitchen team in Dubai. You will assist in preparing authentic Mexican dishes such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, salsas, and sauces, and support the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.

You should have experience or knowledge of Mexican ingredients and cooking techniques, be a team player, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Mexican cuisine is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Mexican ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Immediate availability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing authentic Mexican dishes such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, salsas, and sauces.
• Support the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure food preparation meets quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety & hygiene guidelines.
• Assist with stock rotation and storage (FIFO).
• Prepare ingredients (cutting, marinating, portioning) as directed.

We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Commis Chef (Mexican Cuisine) to join our kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing authentic Mexican dishes such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, salsas, and sauces.
• Support the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure food preparation meets quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety & hygiene guidelines.
• Assist with stock rotation and storage (FIFO).
• Prepare ingredients (cutting, marinating, portioning) as directed.
