We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Commis Chef specializing in Indian cuisine to join our kitchen team. You will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen hygiene, and support senior chefs in creating authentic and high-quality Indian dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and cooking of Indian dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes and quality standards.
Help with basic cooking tasks such as chopping vegetables, grinding spices, and marinating meats.
Ensure cleanliness and proper sanitation of the kitchen and workstations.
Maintain stock levels and inform supervisors of low inventory.
Assist in plating and presentation of dishes as directed.
Follow safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Requirements:
Previous kitchen experience preferred, especially in Indian cuisine.
Basic understanding of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques.
