Job summary

Common Grounds, part of the EATX family, is opening a new Abu Dhabi location. We seek a Commis/Demi Chef de Partie to assist in basic food prep, follow established recipes, and maintain a pristine workstation under senior guidance.

You will learn in a structured, hands-on environment, with opportunities for growth within a professional culinary brigade and a collaborative team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Culinary certificate/diploma or equivalent hands-on kitchen experience.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene, knife skills, and kitchen equipment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional kitchen environment.
• Good physical stamina to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Team-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs de partie with basic food preparation, chopping, and mise en place
• Follow recipes and presentation standards under the guidance of senior chefs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times
• Help with receiving, storing, and rotating kitchen stock
• Support the wider kitchen team during busy service periods

Education

Culinary certificate/diploma or equivalent hands-on kitchen experience
