Jumeirah is seeking a Commis 3 for Lah Lah Kitchen at Zabeel House the Greens by Jumeirah in Dubai. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in various kitchen areas within luxury hospitality and is proficient in English.

• Gather, measure, mix, and prepare ingredients per recipes.
• Wash, peel, chop vegetables, fruits, and meats per hygiene standards.
• Cut and season meats as directed by senior staff, ensuring consistency.
• Prepare basic dishes like salads and sauces per recipe specs.
• Follow recipes and plating guides to maintain quality and presentation.
• Stock and organize food items in refrigerators/freezers for freshness.

About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Commis 3 to join Lah Lah in Zabeel House the Greens by Jumeirah.

The main duties and responsibilities for this role:

• Gather, measure, mix, and prepare meal ingredients, sauces, and seasonings according to specified recipes and instructions.
• Wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and meats as required, ensuring all preparation meets hygiene and quality standards.
• Cut and season various meats as directed by senior culinary staff, maintaining consistency in preparation techniques.
• Prepare basic dishes such as salads and sauces as instructed, ensuring adherence to recipe specifications and plating guidelines.
• Follow established recipes and plating guides precisely to maintain consistency and quality in food presentation.
• Ensure proper stocking and organization of food items in refrigerators and freezers to maintain freshness and availability.

• Expert in food quality and presentation skills.
