A Commis 2 at Conrad Dubai is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while contributing to departmental targets.

What will I be doing?

As a Commis 2 at Conrad Dubai, you are responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to ensure an excellent Guest and Member experience. You will also prepare all mis-en-place and contribute to departmental targets. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring consistent great food production, aligned with Hilton's high standards
  • Performing tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Supporting kitchen revenue through effective food cost control
  • Providing support to the kitchen brigade
  • Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes within company guidelines
  • Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in all work areas, avoiding cross-contamination
  • Preparing all mis-en-place for relevant menus
  • Assisting other departments when necessary and fostering good working relationships
  • Reporting maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues
  • Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health, safety, and food safety legislation
  • Being aware of departmental targets and working as part of the team to achieve them
  • Meeting all health and hygiene standards
  • Being environmentally conscious
