Role Description

We are partnering with an innovative technology organisation in Abu Dhabi to provide them with a Commercial Lawyer who thrives on variety and impact. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of legal and business operations, providing expert legal advice across a wide spectrum of commercial matters. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to:

1. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including sales, service & licensing agreements
2. Provide legal advice on business transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships
3. Represent / advise our client in resolving commercial disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation
4. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing clear and effective legal advice in a commercial context
5. Provide legal counsel on intellectual property matters, including licensing, protection, and commercialization of IP assets

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer admitted in a recognised international jurisdiction.
• Extensive experience with a top-tier international law firm or in-house legal team, particularly in commercial and technology contracts.
• Expertise in drafting and negotiating a diverse range of agreements, including service agreements, partnerships, and vendor contracts.
• Strong understanding of UAE legal frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage complex legal matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
