A Snapshot of Your Day
To support the growing energy demand, you will prepare long-term service and operation & maintenance offers for the Middle East region. You will work closely with the technical sales and bid management team, regional entities, and clients to develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure successful sign-offs.
Your responsibilities include developing bid strategies with technical teams, analyzing contracts, understanding export and tax regulations, performing calculations, and more.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Collaborate with the Technical Sales Manager and bidding team to prepare budgetary and firm bids.
- Manage financial and commercial activities during the sales process, including tender analysis and risk mitigation.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to currency, financial security, payment terms, insurance, export control, and customs compliance.
- Guide regional colleagues in bid structuring and transparent calculations.
- Manage financial results to meet targets, optimizing gross profit, cash flow, and assets.
- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts, working with legal, insurance, guarantee, financing, VAT, and customs departments.
- Contribute to internal project approvals and support the Technical Sales Manager.
- Maintain quality of sales forecasts and reporting in SFDC.
What You Bring
- A degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in commercial bid and sales management, preferably in construction, engineering, energy generation, or transmission projects.
- Expertise in bid preparation, contract negotiation, tax compliance, financial reporting, and risk management.
- Knowledge of Financial Controlling, Management Accounting (IFRS), and reporting systems (MS Office, SAP, SFDC).
- Ability to work across functions and connect with people at all levels.
- Openness to new ideas and working in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent English communication and negotiation skills; Arabic skills are a plus.
