The role of the construction project manager -Airport is to establish collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders at the project, introduce and integrate our solution into the project, and lead the team in maximizing our share of wallet.

What does the role involve?

The role aims to maximize the share of wallet of large projects, working together with engineering and sales force.

Main Responsibilities

  • Build and lead capture team to maximize topline and meet profitability standards (P&L) on an assigned project portfolio.
  • Responsible for project management with an end-to-end approach, from acquisition to order execution.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure project compliance with local Hilti rules and guidelines.

Project Management

  • Create a plan, set objectives, and identify must-win battles; plan resources and orchestrate the project team from early stages.
  • Hold regular meetings with relevant stakeholders from design to execution.
  • Arrange periodic internal meetings (capture team meetings) with the Hilti team to ensure targets are met.
  • Provide regular updates to the Sales VP on progress of targeted projects.
Teamwork and Development
  • Establish excellent working relationships with all relevant Hilti functions, including Project Management Office, Fulfillment, Engineering, and Sales.
  • Provide input for colleagues, share experiences on main applications (locally or globally), and coach others.

What You Need Is
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering
  • Experience in the Airport construction industry.
  • Understanding of commercial, technical, financial, logistical, and legal aspects related to complex situations involving products, services, and software.
  • Ability to orchestrate complex deals, meet sales targets and deadlines, while maintaining quality and profitability.
  • Previous experience in engineering & sales.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written).
  • Proven stakeholder and relationship management, and contract negotiation skills.
  • A target and solution-oriented mindset.
