We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Commercial Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our organization's financial success and commercial operations.   • Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize profitability and business growth
  • Manage contract negotiations ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and assessments.
  • Knowledge of marine engineering and construction management.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
  • Lead and mentor a team of commercial professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align commercial objectives with overall business goals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on commercial performance to senior management
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks through effective risk management strategies
  • Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes and systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in commercial management, finance, or a related field
  • At least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or relevant commercial certifications are highly desirable
  • Proven good experience in port, marine structures, breakwaters, and dredging.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems, commercial regulations, and contract law
  • Proven experience in contract management and commercial operations
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal closures
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong understanding of business strategy and market trends
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
  • Experience working in an international business environment is a plus
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages relevant to the region is advantageous
