Job Description
Our company is actively looking for a Commercial Manager who is currently residing in India but willing to relocate to the United Arab Emirates to join our dynamic team. Details of this role are mentioned below:
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth.
Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans for commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.).
Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
Oversee the business development, sales and marketing teams to ensure cohesive and effective execution of strategies.
Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with major stakeholders, including clients, partners and industry leaders.
Focus and develop new product exports (ingredients and raw materials for food and beverage, personal care, pharmaceutical, water treatment, metal treatment) from India and China to the Middle East and Africa markets.
Lead the negotiation and closing of high-value deals and contracts.
Ensure the commercial team is meeting its performance targets and objectives.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities and industry developments to inform strategic decisions.
Report to senior management on commercial performance, insights, and strategic recommendations.
Skills and Qualifications
BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus.
Demonstrable experience as a Commercial Manager, Sales Manager or similar role with a minimum of 10 years in business development or commercial management; experience in the chemical industry is a plus.
Extensive experience in market analysis and strategic planning with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets and business growth.
Strong understanding of market dynamics, sales strategies and business development principles.
Expertise in market research, data analysis, financial forecasting and budgeting.
Excellent team leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
