Job summary

Fletcher Piccolo Associates (FPA) seeks an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial strategy and delivery on large Oil & Gas EPC projects in the region. You will oversee contract administration, variations, claims, cost control, and stakeholder liaison across the project lifecycle.

The role requires 12–15 years in a commercial role within Oil & Gas/EPC, a Degree in a related field, and proven Tier 1 contractor experience. Strong negotiation and leadership skills are essential.

• Proven experience with a Tier 1 contractor on major projects.

• Manage subcontractor accounts, procurement input, and final account close-out.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior stakeholders on commercial matters.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and advise senior management.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial professional to take ownership of commercial strategy and delivery across large-scale, high-value projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the commercial function across major Oil & Gas projects, ensuring commercial and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage contract administration, variations, claims, and dispute resolution
• Oversee cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Lead and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors and commercial staff
• Manage subcontractor accounts, procurement input, and final account close-out
• Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and senior stakeholders on all commercial matters
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities, advising senior management accordingly

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 12–15 years' experience in a commercial role within Oil & Gas / EPC construction projects
• Proven experience with a Tier 1 contractor on major projects
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC and/or NEC contract forms
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
