The Commercial Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key client relationships, and overseeing commercial operations for the retail furniture business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development: • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. • Identify new business opportunities, including B2B partnerships, corporate sales, and project-based deals. • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to drive sales growth. • Expand the company’s market presence by establishing relationships with developers, designers, and contractors.
Commercial Strategy & Operations: • Oversee pricing strategies, product positioning, and promotional activities. • Work with marketing teams to create campaigns that enhance brand visibility. • Manage commercial agreements, contracts, and negotiations with suppliers and vendors. • Optimize inventory management to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.
Financial & Budget Management: • Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring financial targets are met. • Analyze sales performance and implement measures to improve profitability. • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality and service standards.
Client & Stakeholder Management: • Maintain strong relationships with key clients, architects, and interior designers. • Ensure excellent customer service and handle any escalations or disputes effectively. • Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to improve service delivery.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in retail furniture, home décor, or a similar industry.
• Proven experience in sales, business development, and commercial operations.
