Responsibilities:
Pre and post contract commercial support
Management of bonds, insurances and guarantee logs
Review of interim valuations and payment certificates
Change Management
Review of variations and preparation of recommendations
Preparation and review of estimates
Assisting in risk and value management and cost control functions
Assisting in identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
Assisting in preparation of progress/ cost reports
Reporting to Project Director on all commercial issues
Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations
Attendance and representation at commercial meetings.
Experiences and Qualifications:
Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognized University
Relevant Experience in Pre and post contract, Commercial Processes, strong admin and QAQC reviewing skills, managing change control process, client facing, knowledge of local market would be a preferable.
Min 15+ years in pre and post-contract (change management is essential) relevant capacity in contracts and commercial management
MRICS mandatory
Experience of managing teams and client facing
Measurement and quantification of building and infrastructure works
Cost estimating of building and infrastructure elements
Must have previous experience of FIDIC Contracts
Project experience must be broad and include Hospitality, Residential, Leisure and Infrastructure;
Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 3 years
Must have minimum of 3 years Middle East experience
Should be based in KSA
Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost-X or similar is preferable;
Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
