Every day is different, but as Commercial Director at voco Dubai you’ll mostly be:
- Managing daily commercial activities across sales, marketing, and revenue functions to drive overall hotel profitability.
- Leading the development and execution of strategic sales, marketing, and revenue plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Overseeing revenue management strategies, including pricing, forecasting, and inventory control to optimize revenue performance.
- Implementing sales initiatives to increase market share, occupancy, and RevPAR, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Reviewing and analyzing market trends, competitive positioning, and financial performance to identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinating with key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of sales, marketing, and revenue strategies.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key corporate clients, business partners, and local market influencers.
- Coaching and mentoring the sales and revenue teams to maximize their potential and performance.
- Ensuring compliance with brand standards, pricing policies, and distribution strategies to maintain optimal market positioning.
What we need from you
- Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, or related field.
- Five or more years of experience in a hospitality commercial leadership role, with direct experience in sales, marketing, and revenue management.
- Strong knowledge of market trends, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization techniques.
- Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and data analysis to drive commercial success.
- Proficiency in revenue management systems, distribution channels, and CRM tools.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and align teams towards common business goals.
