Job summary

HiTHIUM Energy Storage is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to drive the financial and contractual aspects of projects within the energy sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in contract negotiation and management, especially in the context of BESS and New Energy. Responsibilities include drafting contracts, collaborating with various teams, and managing stakeholder relationships to mitigate risks and ensure project success.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Manager, especially within the BESS, PV, or New Energy sectors.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of other European languages like German is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of NEC3 and FIDIC contract structures.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (including NEC3 and FIDIC) to ensure favorable terms and compliance with standards.
  • Provide strategic advice on contract management and risk mitigation.
  • Oversee contract administration and ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Collaborate with project teams, procurement, and legal departments to ensure success.
  • Lead negotiations with clients and suppliers.
  • Identify and manage potential commercial risks and disputes.
  • Report on commercial performance and project finances.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Manager, especially within the BESS, PV, or New Energy sectors.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of other European languages like German is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of NEC3 and FIDIC contract structures and negotiation skills.
  • Strong commercial, financial, and dispute resolution skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Experience working in a Chinese environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
