Position Summary

We are seeking a commercially savvy and detail-oriented Commercial and Costing Manager to lead the pricing and contractual structuring of our service engagements across the Middle East. Based in Abu Dhabi, this role is responsible for working closely with the client and all Insight affiliates to ensure comprehensive and competitive proposals are developed and delivered.

You will own the commercial elements of bids, developing pricing strategies, negotiating terms and conditions, and ensuring alignment between Insight, its affiliates, and the client. This role will represent Insight in client-facing commercial discussions and may be presented under the client's brand, depending on the nature of the engagement.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end pricing process, ensuring proposals are commercially competitive, aligned with internal goals, and tailored to client needs
  • Work closely with the client and Insight’s regional affiliates to align and consolidate service components into cohesive proposals
  • Integrate the client’s service offerings into Insight’s proposals with a clear articulation of value
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with prospective clients across the Middle East, acting on behalf of Insight and in alignment with the client’s objectives
  • Build and maintain pricing models, tools, and templates to support scalable, accurate quoting processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, sales, legal, finance, and delivery, to ensure commercial deals are viable and contractually sound
  • Track, document, and share insights from commercial decisions to drive continuous improvement and transparency
  • Advise senior stakeholders on pricing strategies and provide commercial insight during deal reviews
  • Ensure compliance with internal commercial governance and approval processes

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial management, pricing, or bid management, ideally within the technology or consulting services sectors
  • Strong understanding of contract negotiation, pricing strategy, and deal structuring in multi-regional or complex service environments
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead high-stakes negotiations
  • Skilled in building and managing financial and pricing models
  • Experience working with clients and stakeholders across the Middle East, with strong cultural awareness and regional commercial knowledge
  • High attention to detail, strong business acumen, and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Experience working with multiple business units or partners to deliver integrated proposals

Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commercial Management, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a commercial/pricing role within a services-based business
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with pricing tools and CRM platforms
  • Knowledge of legal and contractual frameworks relevant to service agreements in the Middle East
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., APMP, CIPS) are advantageous
