Job description

Position : Commercial Analyst

Salary : 15K to 20K

Reporting To: Commercial Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain commercial models for new sales and retention bids and evaluate sales performance.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, benchmarking and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular, insightful reports and analysis to senior management to aid in business decision-making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, sales and project teams to address issues impacting business performance.
  • Support growth budgeting, forecasting and the annual valuation process, including consolidation and external reporting.
  • Conduct post award analyses and loss analyses to support in future decision-making.
  • Act as an initial point of contact for requests, working closely with sales, retention and operations to fully understand requirements, responsibilities and timelines. Prepare response templates, customer pricing simulations and conduct commercial analyses.
  • Review and validate outputs ensuring pricing models, response quality, adherence to processes and timelines are met as per RFP processes and client requirement.
  • Draft and review escalations for commercial managers to facilitate informed decision-making and escalate issues to leadership when necessary.
  • Lead initiatives and report improvements to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
  • Through the support of the sales team, build and maintain effective customer relationships with business stakeholders, conduct site visits when necessary to understand their requirements and strategies.
  • Collaborate to deliver value-added solutions supporting business outcomes.
  • Provide timely advice and recommendations to sales, retention and operations team regarding solutions and potential enhancements.
  • Utilize Excel and other data analysis tools to assess business situations, prepare budgets, forecasts and trend analyses regularly.
  • Review performance reports, sales trends and other sales data from salesforce (ADNHC CRM tool for client management) to provide actionable recommendations to relevant teams.
  • Manage post-sales activities, including performance reporting and data analysis.
