Collector (Building Materials Manufacturer Sharjah)

Our client, a leading building material manufacturer in Dubai, is currently looking for a Collector to join their dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth financial operations by managing customer collections and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Location: Dubai, UAE
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reporting to: Sales Manager
Work Arrangement: As per company guidelines

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and deliver invoices to customers, obtain acknowledgment, and return to the sales administration team.
  • Collect payments (cheques, LC documents) after proper reconciliation of accounts.
  • Deliver other essential documents such as technical submissions, mix designs, and prequalification documents as required.
  • Assist in obtaining necessary permits or permissions from authorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and support internal audits.
  • Ensure proper daily reconciliation and provide reports as required.
  • Implement systematic follow-ups with customers on outstanding payments.
  • Maintain professional and cordial relationships with all clients.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and finance teams to support smooth processes.
  • Uphold all company policies related to internal control compliance and business conduct.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in the UAE.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
  • Language proficiency in English is required; Arabic or Hindi is a plus.
