An established industry player is seeking a Credit Control Manager to oversee daily operations related to credit collection across the UAE. This role involves managing invoicing processes, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring timely collections. Qualifications

Job description

JOB PURPOSE:

Manage day to day operations on all credit control collection activities across UAE business.

Credit Control, Sales and Collection Functions:

  1. Register invoices on customer portals if required
  2. Active role in certification of invoices, Letter of Credit with customer
  3. Sending SOA regularly
  4. Follow up on correctly registering the collected cheques in system
  5. Arranging the collection of Cheques/ receipt / LC documents via courier or personal visit
  6. Proper tracking of each cheque, SOR and Invoice to be able to help in SOA reconciliation
  7. Preparation of Weekly and Monthly Customer Reconciliations
  8. Debtors Management on day to day basis
  9. Customer Portal Reconciliation
  10. Understanding of Credit Insurance limits on customers
  11. Meeting Customers on regular basis
  12. Responsibility for timely Collections from customers
  13. Updating Customer Master Data – Contact details, emails.
  14. Preparing & presenting ageing report for weekly meeting with Sales & operations
  15. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  16. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  17. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  18. Call and reconcile at least 30 customers per day and updating of tasks by daily reports to Manager
  19. Monthly Customer Account Balance confirmation
  20. Customers visit within UAE

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Experience & Knowledge:

  1. Minimum 3~5 years relevant experience in Credit function and collection management with preferred experience in construction industry in UAE
  2. Accounting software SAP knowledge preferred
  3. Ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds
  4. Excellent commercial sense and interest in business
  5. Familiarity in SOX is advantageous
  6. Working experience on Letter of Credits, Trade Finance and Credit insurance
  7. Exposure on Multi Currency handling
  8. Working knowledge on legal framework is an advantage
  9. Trading, Manufacturing and Service related accounting knowledge preferred
  10. Working Experience with government department (DEWA, DHA, Engineering office) preferred
  11. Driving License and a car is a must

Education:

  1. BBA, B.COM (Commerce background)

Skills:

  1. Excellent MS office Skills (Advance Excel, Word and Power point)
  2. Excel Level 3 knowledge a must (Macros, Pivot Table, Advance Excel formulas)
  3. Communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in written English
  4. People management skill
  5. Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with Internal/External and Inter/Intra department
  6. Strong analytical and numerical skills
  7. Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels
