Job summary

Americana Foods in Dubai seeks a Warehouse Section Head to support the Warehouse Manager in leading FG, RM, and PM storage operations. You will manage cold stores, dry stores, inventory control, local distribution, and a delivery fleet while upholding safety, accuracy, efficiency, and food safety.

The role requires extensive warehouse experience in FMCG or food sectors and a proven supervisory background, with strong collaboration across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of warehouse experience in FMCG, Food Manufacturing, Distribution, or Cold Chain Operations.
• Minimum 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership position.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations across all storage facilities.
• Ensure smooth receiving, put-away, storage, picking, replenishment, and dispatch activities.
• Develop daily workload plans and assign tasks to storekeepers and warehouse operators.
• Ensure all warehouse activities are executed according to SOPs and company policies.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality, Sales, and Logistics departments.
• Monitor warehouse capacity and optimize storage utilization.
• Ensure uninterrupted material flow to support manufacturing and customer requirements.
• Act as the first escalation point for operational issues and inventory discrepancies.
• Take full responsibility for inventory control and stock accuracy across FG Cold Store, RM Cold Store, and PM Dry Store.
• Record and process all inventory transactions in ERP/WMS timely.
• Monitor stock accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Validate receiving and issuing activities with batch numbers, expiry dates, and traceability.
• Ensure FIFO and FEFO compliance to minimize losses.
• Review inventory reports and investigate variances and discrepancies.
• Monitor slow-moving, aging, obsolete, and damaged inventories.
• Coordinate movements between warehouses and external storage while maintaining traceability.
• Lead monthly cycle counts and annual physical stock counts.
• Ensure proper stock rotation, location management, and warehouse housekeeping.
• Prepare inventory performance reports and propose improvements.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, traceability, audits, and internal controls.

Education

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
