Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an experienced Medical Coder in Dubai to review inpatient and outpatient records, assign DRGs, and ensure compliant documentation for reimbursement.

The role requires 7+ years of relevant experience, AHIMA/AAPC certification, and strong computer skills. You will also train coding staff and participate in policy development for emerging technology services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant medical coding experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Valid certification from AHIMA (CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA, or CCA) or AAPC (excluding Scribe, Documentation, Instructor, and International Credentials)
• Strong computer literacy and medical records management skills
