Job Description:

1. Read FIRST AND THIRD ANGLE Drawings, process sheet
2. Tooling & Cutting Knowledge
3. Calculation/Trigonometry
4. 3D Machining
5. 2D Program Execution
6. 3 Jaws Tru Chuck
7. 4 Axis Machine
8. API Ring Groove Gauge
9. 4 Axis Milling
10. 6A (API Ring Grooves)
11. Operator Inspection Report
12. Job Identification
13. Log Book
14. Tolerance & Cutting Job
15. Threading Cycles

Minimum Requirements:

1. Strong knowledge of Mazak, FANUC, Siemens, and Fadal machining centers
2. Knowledge of metal forming/Steel/Mild Steel
3. Knowledge of 2D and 3D CNC programming (Master Cam) / Should have knowledge of CAM Programming
4. Knowledge of good machine maintenance practices
5. Should be able to read Engineering Drawings and Program accordingly
6. Excellent print reading skills
7. Familiar with GD&T tolerances as listed on manufacturing prints and interpreting the same
8. Knowledge of API thread codes and G code – M code

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. High school. Preferably ITI qualified or equivalent vocational training
2. ITI with minimum 3 years of experience or non-ITI with hands-on experience of more than 8 years as Turner. Experience using measurement and quality control devices including gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other quality inspection devices
3. Able to read and interpret blueprints and job orders
4. Diploma In Mechanical Engineering (DME)
5. Physical endurance - Able to stand for long hours
