Job Overview:

As a CNC Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our CNC machines and equipment. You will work closely with the production team to identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise, as well as develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on all CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to ensure optimal functioning of equipment
  • Collaborate with the production team to schedule maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
  • Source and order replacement parts as needed
  • Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC maintenance and repair
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machines and equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders
  • Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergency repairs
