As a CNC Machinist, you will be performing functions to set up and operate special purpose equipment and CNC machines.

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for:

• Manufacturing and reworking parts from start to finish in a timely manner, according to Baker Oil Tools specifications.
• Reading and understanding engineering machine drawings, process charts, check sheets, and work-related documents.
• Performing CNC operations such as setting appropriate CNC Mazatrol programs, tools & job setting, turning, boring, drilling, thread cutting, milling, and using appropriate special gauges and measuring instruments. Operating within standard operating procedures and adhering to safety practices.
• Checking manufactured parts for accuracy according to QAS procedures.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
• Conducting thorough housekeeping of machinery and work area.
• Performing daily maintenance of machinery; starting and observing machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusting machine controls as required.
• Moving parts to and from assigned workstations.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Have a minimum of three years of CNC (Mazak Machines) machine operation experience.
• Have exposure to selecting, aligning, and securing holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, and honing machines.
• Have the ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Have working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T).
• Be able to apply basic concepts of mathematical calculations while machining components.
• Have good organization and communication skills.
• Be willing to work 6 days a week. Day shift & Night shift. Rotation as per business needs.
