Job Description

Operate Laser cutting machine on shift basis.

• Operate CNC laser cutting machines, ensuring precision and quality in all cuts while adhering to project specifications and timelines.
• Set up and calibrate machines according to technical drawings and blueprints, adjusting parameters for optimal performance and material compatibility.
• Monitor machine operations and performance, conducting routine maintenance tasks to prevent downtime and maintain equipment integrity.
• Interpret and edit CAD/CAM files to optimize cutting paths and enhance efficiency without sacrificing quality.
• Conduct quality control inspections of finished products, identifying and addressing any defects to meet industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols to minimize hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve operational processes.
• Document production data, including machine settings and material usage, for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Train and mentor junior operators on best practices, safety procedures, and machine operation techniques.

Desired Candidate Profile
