A Cluster Sales Executive analyses local market trends and competitor activity to generate new future business for the hotel.

What will I be doing?

As a Cluster Sales Executive, you will analyze local market trends and competitor activity to generate new business for the hotel. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads
  • Developing customer accounts and traveling within the local area to drive business into the hotel/cluster and increase market share in all revenue streams
  • Negotiating room rates and packages with corporate clients
  • Developing and implementing creative local marketing channels, including social media
  • Preparing company contracts in accordance with current business and pricing conditions
  • Working within current business strategies and recognizing potential opportunities
  • Collaborating with other hotel departments to create an exceptional guest experience and build strong sales programs
  • Attending sales events as required
  • Producing accurate and timely reports for the Sales Director and senior management, including appointments, calls, and business leads
  • Responding to customer queries promptly and professionally
