Job description

The Cluster Public Relation leads our cluster hotels public image, enhance brand awareness, and manage communication efforts that attract guests, partners, and the wider travel industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a strong media presence, generating positive press coverage, and promoting the hotel's services, events, and unique guest experiences. In particular, you will be accountable for the following responsibilities, which must be completed to the utmost standards:

  • Works directly with CDOM to develop marketing programs, design marketing strategies, and implement PR campaigns
  • Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to promote the hotels locally and internationally.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel journalists, lifestyle editors, influencers, bloggers, and media agencies.
  • Write and distribute press releases, feature stories, and media kits showcasing hotel initiatives, events, awards, and milestones.
  • Pitch story ideas to media that highlight unique experiences, culinary offerings, guest services, and destination appeal.
  • Measure and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
  • Adjust marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and other feedback.
  • Ensure consistent and high-quality hotel brands communication across all media and communication platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing, digital, and F&B teams to align promotional activities with PR efforts.
  • Develop talking points and briefing materials for hotel leadership and spokespersons.
  • Organize and support media events, press trips, hotel tours, product launches, and influencer stays.
  • Partner with tourism boards, brands, and lifestyle outlets for co-branded events and cross-promotions.
  • Assist in the creation of content for hotel blogs, social media, newsletters, and online travel platforms.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to ensure PR activities are amplified online and aligned with brand tone.
  • Establish and ensure hotels website integrations.
  • Oversee current offerings and come up with initiatives for new promotions or events.
  • Oversee MKT team to support staff, including performance evaluation, training and motivation, and direct participation in personnel actions.
  • Initiate and implement direct outreach marketing efforts to potential external customers.
  • Represent the MKT Team at various events and business meetings.
  • Work with marketing staff to develop detailed marketing plans for all media channels.
  • Responsible for increasing brand awareness and market share & ensuring digital initiatives.
  • Ensure that plans and messaging are aligned with business strategy, reinforce brand positioning, and are delivered effectively to targeted audiences.
  • Assist in Marketing Budget preparations.
  • Assist in MKT Regional Office Coordination.
  • Assist in interviews & hires for MKT department.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.

What are we looking for

A Cluster PR Manager representing our brand is consistently advocating for our guests and collaborating with other associates. In order to effectively fulfill this position, it is imperative that you uphold the following attitudes, behaviors, skills, and values:

  • Bachelor degree required.
  • Previous 4 to 5 years of experience in hotel marketing & PR department.
  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand English as the primary language(s) used in the workplace; fluency is required; any other additional language skills are appreciated (fluency in Arabic is a big advantage).
  • Has a creative vision and the ability to create innovative design projects and implement them.
  • Media, advertising, design, marketing communications, and corporations experience is a plus.
  • Computer knowledgeable with competency in all major design computer packages and strong creative ability in the following software is necessary: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Dreamweaver and Flash is a plus.
  • Attention to detail - must have an eye for detail and be able to submit quality work that is consistent.
  • Photography skills are a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills. Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks with keen attention to detail.
  • Must have marketing knowledge as well as keep up with emerging channels and technology.
  • Strategic thinking & self-starter. Must be able to work with others to solve complex problems and take initiative to see and define new opportunities and put plans in place to exploit them.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Proven ability to work with a team and follow instructions.
