Job description

We’re searching for a Cluster Director of Revenue who will maximize all revenues to and for the hotel, including but not limited to Room, Food & Beverage, and Banquet/Catering revenues. The role involves leading cross-functional decision-making across all revenue-generating departments, including Sales and Marketing, Rooms, Catering, and Food & Beverage.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Using tools like IBP and in compliance with IHG standards, maintain and share information on external events, competitor rates, RevPAR, guest spending patterns, and other key revenue metrics.
  2. Evaluate hotel profitability and use this data to inform rate setting and negotiations.
  3. Monitor competitor pricing and market dynamics to recommend appropriate pricing strategies.
  4. Conduct weekly rate and sell strategy meetings with key hotel leadership.
  5. Manage demand analysis for space and rooms, including booking pace and denied business.
  6. Approve and implement sell strategies for group proposals and collaborate with sales teams on rates.
  7. Oversee use of revenue systems and manage all distribution channels, ensuring compliance with standards.
  8. Ensure compliance with IBP rules, contribute to budgeting, and provide revenue forecasts.
  9. Conduct revenue management audits and lead special projects for market research and operational optimization.
  10. Support sales and front desk teams with up-selling and negotiation techniques, and train staff on revenue systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar role with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of business trends.
