Job Description

Scope and General Purpose of Job:

  1. The Manager of eCommerce & Distribution is responsible for defining and executing the digital media and eCommerce strategy for the property.
  2. This role supports the hotel’s commercial strategy by developing digital marketing and eCommerce programs, including SEM (PPC and SEO), mobile marketing, display advertising, email marketing, and social media advertising.
  3. Oversees eCommerce activities, managing the hotel’s websites and mini-sites in line with corporate guidelines and marketing efforts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Electronic Distribution:

  1. Implement Minor Hotel’s long-term electronic distribution strategy aligned with corporate and regional guidelines.
  2. Manage relationships and SOPs with online travel agencies, including commercial terms, content management, billing, and connectivity issues.
  3. Monitor and report on the effective use of electronic distribution tools to maximize marketplace competitiveness.
  4. Manage channel manager and new channel integrations with the revenue and reservations teams.

E-Commerce:

  1. Coordinate eCommerce tactics for the property, including SEO, SEM campaigns, and performance analysis.
  2. Optimize website content and functionality, ensuring proper translations and performance.
  3. Support email marketing campaigns, testing functionalities and measuring ROI.
  4. Develop strategies for increasing website traffic and engagement.

Hotel website management, mini-site development, and content optimization are also key responsibilities.

  1. Develop eCommerce strategies focusing on content management, traffic tactics, and SEO.
  2. Collaborate with marketing teams to maintain relevant keywords and optimize website content.

Digital Marketing Responsibilities (PPC, SEO, Social Media, Email, Mobile):

  1. Manage advertising models like CPA, CPC, CPM, and email campaigns.
  2. Work with agencies to ensure strategic and efficient PPC and SEO plans.
  3. Lead email marketing initiatives, including account setup, activity planning, performance reporting, and database audits.
  4. Execute social media strategies to grow fan base and monitor performance.

Total Digital Strategy for F&B, Spa, MICE, and B2B:

  1. Implement additional digital channels and campaigns for various outlets and services.
  2. Develop digital advertising strategies aligned with global roadmaps.
  3. Drive high-value property campaigns and explore delivery methodologies for F&B outlets.
  4. Improve responsiveness of RFP conversions on the website.

Revenue Management and Pricing

  1. Assist revenue teams in maximizing revenue through business trend analysis and digital strategies.
  2. Monitor distribution channels to align with the company’s distribution strategy.
  3. Ensure adherence to dynamic pricing strategies across channels.

Project and Third-Party Agency Management:

  1. Engage with industry vendors, agencies, and media partners to adopt best practices.
  2. Coordinate with the marketing team for all digital sales and marketing activities.

Technical:

  1. Familiarity with the technical setup of relevant distribution channels.
