Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and compliant cloud architectures across AWS and Azure environments. The role involves integrating DevSecOps practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving cloud security strategy across enterprise projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a hands-on approach to solving complex cloud security challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end cloud security architectures in AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.
  • Lead the secure configuration and governance of cloud-native services including networking, storage, identity, compute, and serverless functions.
  • Integrate DevSecOps practices into CI / CD pipelines (e.g., code scanning, container security, secrets management).
  • Define and enforce cloud security policies, IAM strategies, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) security standards using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure Bicep.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using native (e.g., AWS CloudTrail, Azure Monitor) and third-party tools (e.g., Prisma Cloud, SentinelOne, Snyk, Checkmarx).
  • Conduct cloud threat modeling, risk assessments, and architecture reviews of new projects and third-party integrations.
  • Collaborate with application development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure cloud adoption across business units.
  • Respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities in cloud environments, and assist with post-mortem and RCA documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, CCPA, and UAE regulatory requirements.
  • Provide thought leadership and strategic direction for cloud security roadmap and enterprise cloud migration initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3+ years in cloud security architecture roles.
  • Expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms with strong knowledge of native security services and controls.
  • Proven experience in DevSecOps tooling, IaC scanning, container security (Docker, Kubernetes), and secure SDLC.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM), zero trust architecture, encryption, key management, and multi-cloud strategies.
  • Hands-on with tools such as : Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Prisma Cloud, Aqua Security, HashiCorp Vault.
  • Certifications preferred : AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, CCSP, CISSP, or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to bridge gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Have

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud providers.
  • Familiarity with SOAR and SIEM integrations (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar) in cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of API security, microservices security, and cloud-native firewalls.
  • Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., BFSI, healthcare, government).
