Job summary

Stone is seeking a Finance/Cost Management professional to oversee cloud and technology costs, ensuring financial efficiency and optimized spend. You will prepare monthly close reports, develop budgeting and forecasting models, and drive FinOps practices across engineering teams.

The role involves data analysis with Excel/Power BI, creating executive presentations, and influencing strategic decisions through consumption metrics andcost governance for AI/ML infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Administration, Economics, or related fields.
• Minimum experience in financial management of Cloud environments or technology infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Cloud pricing models, basic architecture, and resource sizing.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Knowledge of financial governance, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience with cost governance for AI/ML infrastructure (LLM API consumption, GPU clusters, GenAI services).
• Strong communication, influence, negotiation, and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze costs in Cloud and technology environments to ensure financial efficiency.
• Prepare monthly reports and presentations regarding cost closing and budget.
• Apply FinOps practices to optimize infrastructure and Cloud investments.
• Monitor and control budgets, identifying cost reduction and performance improvement opportunities with Engineering teams.
• Use advanced Google Sheets for data analysis, projections, and financial modeling.
• Apply basic accounting knowledge, including P&L analysis, provision control, CAPEX/OPEX management, and financial forecasting.
• Support strategic decisions by creating executive presentations with data-driven insights and consumption metrics.
