Job summary

ALU is seeking a Cloud Engineer/DevOps expert to manage production and non-production AWS environments, implement Infrastructure as Code, and optimize integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise apps. The role focuses on reliability and scalable automation in a fast-moving EdTech context.

You will monitor health and costs, design CI/CD pipelines, enforce security and disaster recovery, and maintain runbooks and architecture diagrams across projects in the UAE and beyond.

Qualifications

• At least four years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or systems integration.
• Hands-on experience supporting production AWS environments (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Strong experience troubleshooting integrations across APIs, cloud services, and databases.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and Git-based source control.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK).
• Scripting experience in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Bash.
• Sound understanding of monitoring, logging, cloud security, and disaster recovery.
