NMC Health plc in Dubai, UAE is seeking a Pharmacist to join our on-site team. This full-time role focuses on accurate dispensing, reviewing prescriptions, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.

You will counsel patients, clarify issues with physicians, supervise repackaging and labeling, assist in training staff, and adhere to DHA regulations and Joint Commission International norms. The successful candidate must maintain professional licensure, communicate effectively in English, and

Responsabilidades

• Dispense medications to inpatient as per prescription.
• Review and interpret each prescription before dispensing to ensure strength, dose, and dosage form accuracy.
• Provide patient information and counseling regarding dispensed medications.
• Clarify prescription abnormalities with the prescribing physician.
• Refer unresolved problems to the chief pharmacist.
• Supervise repackaging, labeling and documentation of medications issued to other departments.
• Answer drug-related inquiries from doctors, nurses and customers.
• Refer inquiries that cannot be answered with certainty to the chief pharmacist.
• Assist in training of new pharmacists and staff as directed by the chief pharmacist.
• Perform specialty pharmacy activities as delegated and trained.
• Maintain medicine stock, monitor near expiry medicines, and update the controlled medicines register daily.
