Job summary

JobLeader in Dubai is seeking a Pharmacist to join our team. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, advise patients on dosage, and maintain records in line with UAE standards.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, have strong English communication skills, and be familiar with medical terminology. We offer a competitive salary, health insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field from an accredited program or equivalent training/experience.
• Must possess sufficient English language skills (verbal & written) to communicate & understand effectively with patients & co-workers as well as legal requirements & regulations
• Knowledge of medical terminology & pharmaceutical nomenclature
• Ability to operate medical equipment such as computers & scales

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications as prescribed by physicians
• Advise patients on medication dosage and usage
• Monitor patient drug therapies for appropriateness, safety, efficacy, and cost effectiveness
• Follow all applicable laws and regulations related to pharmacy practices in accordance with UAE governmental standards
• Ensure that all prescriptions are accurate while following all safety protocols
• Stock shelves with medication supplies
• Maintain records of the medications dispensed and restocked
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary
• Properly receive new stock orders and check for accuracy
