Job summary

Al Ain University of Science & Technology in Abu Dhabi seeks a Clinical Instructor – Nursing with a Master’s degree in Nursing and a specialty in Adult/ Critical/ Acute care. You will supervise and evaluate undergraduate nursing students during clinical training, ensuring alignment with learning outcomes and applying theory to practice.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience and 2–3 years teaching at the undergraduate level, with strong English/Arabic communication skills

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution with a specialty in Adult Nursing Care, Critical Care, or Acute Care.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Arabic orally and in writing.
• Strong teaching and supervision skills with clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate undergraduate nursing students during clinical training and practice.
• Support the implementation of clinical learning outcomes and ensure effective application of theoretical knowledge in clinical settings.
• Provide clinical teaching, guidance, and constructive feedback to support students’ academic and clinical development.
• Monitor individual student progress and contribute to the assessment of students’ clinical competencies and performance.
• Collaborate with clinical agencies and academic faculty to ensure effective coordination and delivery of clinical education.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of clinical education, learning activities, and student assessment.
• Support the implementation of evidence-based nursing practice and promote safe, effective, and professional patient care among students.
• Participate in academic activities, meetings, and initiatives of the College and University as required.
• Maintain a professional, inclusive, and student-centered clinical learning environment.
• Support the advancement of nursing education and clinical excellence within the institution.

• A proven record of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, with 2–3 years of experience.

• Strong communication, supervision, and clinical teaching skills.
• Dedication to continued professional development.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Arabic orally and in writing.
