Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East in Dubai is seeking a Psychologist to provide psychological assessment, counselling, and therapeutic support for children, adolescents, and adults. The role includes evaluating emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns and developing individualized treatment plans in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field.
• Relevant clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults.
• Strong psychological assessment, counselling, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse clients.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, French and English, or English plus another relevant language is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, professionalism, and commitment to client-centered care.
• Candidates must meet applicable UAE and Dubai professional licensing requirements for their scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and clinical interviews for children, adolescents, and adults.
• Provide individual counselling and psychotherapy, together with family counselling where appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's needs and clinical presentation.
• Support clients experiencing emotional, behavioral, developmental, and psychological concerns.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans when clinically appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, schools, and other healthcare professionals involved in client care.
• Communicate effectively with clients and families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to coordinated, holistic patient care.
• Maintain professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards applicable to psychological practice in the UAE.
