Job Title: Clinical Biomedical Engineer – Hospital Equipment Management
Location: Onsite (Hospital/Healthcare Facility)

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Clinical Biomedical Engineer to oversee the management, maintenance, and safe operation of medical equipment within a clinical setting. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring hospital technologies function reliably, safely, and in compliance with healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, calibrate, inspect, and maintain a wide range of medical devices and diagnostic equipment

  • Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot technical issues in real-time

  • Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines

  • Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, service logs, and compliance documents

  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper usage and understanding of medical equipment

  • Evaluate new medical technologies and assist with procurement and installation

  • Ensure all equipment meets safety and quality standards in accordance with regulatory bodies (e.g., ISO, FDA, CE, local health authorities)

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or related field

  • 1–3 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting (internships considered)

  • Hands‑on knowledge of imaging systems, patient monitoring devices, infusion pumps, ventilators, etc.

  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards and medical device regulations

  • Strong problem‑solving and communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced clinical environment and respond to urgent equipment issues

  • Bonus: Certification in Clinical Engineering (CCE) or Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET)
