Job summary

Al Sahraa Group in Al Ain is seeking a Classroom Assistant to support the lead teachers, manage the classroom, and reinforce lessons in small groups. The role emphasizes student progress, safety, and collaboration with staff and parents. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s in education is preferred, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Accommodation and transportation are provided by the company, and participation in training sessions and faculty meetings is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Classroom Assistant or Teaching Assistant.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in managing the classroom and monitoring the class schedule.
• Support teachers with lesson preparation, materials, and classroom equipment.
• Revise and reinforce lesson materials with students individually or in small groups.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and positive classroom environment.
• Supervise students during breaks, lunch, transitions, and field trips.
• Work with lead teachers to identify student needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Monitor and document student progress.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress when required.
• Assist lead teachers in preparing lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Follow school policies, classroom rules, and applicable regulations.
• Attend training sessions, parent meetings, and faculty meetings.
