Responsibilities

• Provide support for individual pupils/groups inside and outside the classroom to enable participation in activities and social/emotional well-being.
• Be proactive in health and safety matters.
• Assist in implementing individual education programmes and monitor pupil progress.
• Support pupils with additional needs and help develop social skills.
• Assist class teachers with maintaining pupil records and photocopying.
• Prepare and present displays of pupils’ work and support classroom tasks as required.
• Attend team meetings and work with other professionals as necessary.
• Undertake other duties as required by the principal.
